Thoughtful and insightful songwriting with some of the finest accompaniment you're ever likely to hear, served with plenty of Irish wit and humour, is what you get from Enda Kenny and Lindsay Martin. The pair has been making memorable music together for 20 years. With several overseas tours and six critically acclaimed albums to their name, the latest being PEARLER, they've built a reputation as one of Australia's favourite festival acts.
Red Juliet is a chemistry of opposites. Quiet jazz guitar guru Myles White meets effervescent, soul-folk songstress/double bassist Liz Frencham, with echoes of Tuck &Patti, Joni Mitchell, Ralph Towner & Bill Withers.
Imagine a voice with the disarming honesty and warmth of Shawn Colvin, supported by achingly lyrical guitar sound paintings.
Hear the songs and stories of long-time festival regular Liz in an entirely new duet setting, exquisitely fragile and spacious.
Both artists write, play and sing, together releasing a deep, jazz-inflected, soul-drenched sound that neither has ever let loose before now.
Award winning West Australian singer-songwriter Andrew Winton specialises in lap slide guitar and is known for his on-stage warmth, infectious live shows, humour, stellar musicianship and quirky, poetic lyric writing.
Andrew's influences range from blues & roots, folk, jazz, gospel, funk and country/bluegrass! Using an array of weird & wonderful lap style guitars, he also plays beautiful/lyrical acoustic guitar, and infuses it all with a range of intricate & percussive rhythms thanks to his background as a drummer! Welcome to the world of Andrew Winton.
Kerrianne Cox is an internationally renowned independent Aboriginal performing artist. Her signature song, “Beagle Bay Dreaming” has brought her beloved home and country - Beagle Bay in the remote North West Kimberley region of Western Australia - into the hearts and minds of people all over the world.
"I'm deeply passionate about my music and the love that is created into form by music. For me, music is about healing and building bridges."
Take two national award winning songwriters, three great singers and some hot acoustic string instrument picking and you've got Five Point Turn, comprising Andrew and Karen Winton, Steve and Ros Barnes and Bob Thomson.
One for “Oh Brother Where Art Thou” fans and lovers of acoustic roots music, the Points serve up a mix of generally bluesy-bluegrassy-rootsy material, sung the old-time string-band way with seriously splendiferous vocal harmonies and accompaniments on guitar, dobro, mandolin, guitzouki, wintonbeast, double bass and sundry implements of percussive enhancement.
This stylish package bring a subversive wit and wordcraft to such important issues as Tupperware obsession, the aphrodisiac power of the common vacuum cleaner and ridding your home of excess adult offspring. These original a cappella comedians storm the intellectual barricades of right-minded folk. Anticipate the unexpected, plus classic musical mischief from Python to Lehrer and Flanders to Swann. The group has toured widely to music festivals and clubs around Australia including the Port Fairy Folk Festival, the National Folk Festival, Cygnet Folk Festival, the Illawarra Folk Festival and more.
A powerful alchemy took place when Bec and Dave met in the Northern Territory a few years back. Simply said, these two were meant to sing together. Their unique voices in harmony meld like a soothing, velvet drink for the soul. As a family they now travel the country in their eco-friendly home on wheels, singing up stories that inspire a campfire in the heart via folk/blues music which features open-tunings, slide guitar, mandolin and bouzouki, all of it imbedded with an easy honesty that’s infectious and intimate.
Rory's fourth album, SONGS FOR SOONER, was co-produced with renowned Irish music veteran Gavin Murphy and released in 2010. According to Bruce Elder, "This is a sublime, heart-stoppingly beautiful album" (4 stars). Anthony O'Grady noted in The Australian newspaper that "His message is that all shades of experience can be metamorphosed into positivity and individualistic growth...layers of meaning are revealed gradually" (4 stars).
Rory has largely flown under the radar of the local music scene, but we feel sure that's about to change. He divides his time between Dublin and his home in Vasse on the West Australian coast.
The combination of a unique voice, a wealth of songs and stories, a warm friendly approach and a fine didgeridoo style make up the talents of one of Australia's favorite performers, Greg Hastings.
As an entertainer, Greg has an instinctive rapport with his audience and the ability to create an interesting and light-hearted atmosphere. His Welsh origins are betrayed by a lilting accent and this, accompanied by his wry sense of humour, guitar and didgeridoo, draws his audience into the show.
Picture two girls, moved and inspired by the same musicians and music with a 'secret' dream to create a sound of their own... Introducing Them Little Secrets, comprised of Latiesha Boucher and Fiona Rea.
From humble beginnings, the girls have embarked on a whirlwind tour or Ireland, with one of their songs picked up for a compilation CD returning the spirits of the convict women sent to Australia, home. The song 'Take Me Home' was also named Most Popular Song in the 2010m WAMI Song of the Year competition.

One of the ways we do this is through our
‘Short 'n' Sweet’ sets, where up and coming performers get a 20-minute performance opportunity on the main stage.
Introducing this year's Short 'n' Sweeters....
You can hear a lifetime of influences running through the melodic music of Fallen duo members Nick Long and Peter Blankendaal.
Think power and driving rhythms, majestic harmonies, beautiful melodies and catchy lyrics – all in all, a musical landscape painted with guitars, banjo, harmonica and soaring vocals.
Local singer/songwriter Bec Bradley brings together the musical genius of past and present housemates Erin Patrick and Marie O’dwyer. Performing as a trio for the first time, they've created a repertoire of homegrown melodies. With their worldly flavours, rich instrumentation, and stunning harmonies, these “Housemates” will bring you home.
Although both aged over 40, Karen 'Curly' Hunt and Steve 'Short' Packer are rising newcomers in the acoustic roots music scene. They started writing and performing their own songs after moving from Sydney to Bridgetown four years ago and recently recorded 11 of them for their first CD, WHERE OUR PATHS CROSS.
