Incorporation Details
The Nanga Music Festival is run by the incorporated association, the Araluen Folk Festival. We simply ‘trade as’ Nanga Music Festival.
Due to the association being incorporated, each paying participant automatically becomes a financial member of the association. The ticket you buy doubles as your “Membership Card” to the Araluen Folk Festival Inc. for 2009/2010. This will not obligate you in any way, however it does give you a voice if you choose to be involved in the organization of the next festival.
Volunteers
We could always do with some more helpers if you want to volunteer… This could be as a member of the committee, or simply as a helper during the festival. Contributing to non-profit events which build community spirit is a very rewarding activity.
The Nanga Music Festival is a small festival with a limited budget. We appreciate all offers of assistance to help make the festival successful. Because the festival budget is limited, we expect volunteers to pay for the festival. However, we will try to schedule volunteer activities so they don’t interfere with enjoyment of the festival as a whole.
The tasks which volunteers will be asked to do are:
- Setup and pulldown before and after the festival
- Keeping concert venues tidy
- Gate duties – taking tickets, directing people
- Kitchen duties, dish washing and tidying up
Just email info@nangamusic.org.au if you can help out and we will get in touch at the right time.
