We look forward to welcoming audiences back to the Chrysalis stage at Fairbridge Village for a bit of world, a bit of, roots and indi, folk, latin and gypsy – a bit of dancing- a lot of fun!

Austral (Vic)
Multiple Australian Folk Music Award winners, Austral are a high-energy, four-piece ”Australian tunes’ band combining didgeridoo, Irish pipes, high energy fiddling, journeying songs and energetic foot percussion. Whether you see them on stage or at the session afterward, Austral will get your festival going.
Tuck Shop Ladies (Qld)
Armed with a pair of ukuleles and razor-sharp wit, Sam Lohs and Rosie Burgess turn life’s everyday absurdities into hilarious, harmonious songs. After multiple sold-out seasons at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and two People’s Choice Award nominations at the Australian Folk Music Awards, The Tuck Shop Ladies have firmly cemented their place as crowd favourites.

Maggie Rigby (Vic)
Maggie Rigby is a singer, songwriter, banjo and guitar player from Castlemaine, Central Victoria Australia. She has spent the past 10 years touring all over the world with iconic Melbourne folk band The Maes and is releasing her first solo music this year
Emily Gelineau and Danilo Da Paz
Musical duo Emily Gelineau and Danilo Da Paz explore all corners of the world with their music, from French gypsy jazz to Brazilian choro and the tangos of Argentina. Their travels across the world have influenced their sound and musical journeys, and the combination of the violin and accordion is one not to be missed!
Bernard Carney
Bernard’s a national treasure – even Buckingham Palace agrees! In his 4-decade career Bernard has written important songs about politics, history, places and people; personal songs of family, love, loss, and nostalgia; and funny songs of whimsy, sendups,and silliness. All delivered in his bluesy, laidback and sometimes ragtime style. His mantlepiece is in danger of collapsing under awards. Bernard will lead the Saturday happy hour singalong as well as a concert spot of his own.
The Gray Brothers (Broome)
Albert and Elwood Gray are brothers raised amongst the pindan and saltwater of Broome, Western Australia. Known for their blood harmony, crafted lyrics, guitar and mandolin interplay, and easy stage banter, the brothers have brought their folk-alt-country sound to national festival stages, intimate venues, and backyards across the country.
Axis 3
Axis Three comprises Glenn Rogers and fellow performers, Don Candy and Brendan Biddiss – three Australian guitarists united by a curiosity for harmony, texture and expression. Their music inhabits the space where classical precision meets the spontaneity of jazz.

To celebrate the 100th birthday of the world’s most famous bear, Winnie the Pooh
tragics Francesca Meehan and Jane Cornes invite you on a tender, nostalgic journey
through the delightful poetry of A A Milne, interspersed with original songs by Jane
and the Rain.
A thoughtful, bittersweet journey into what it means to be a human. Or, indeed, a
bear.
Steve Hensby and Elysia Murphy
Is there anything these two can’t do? They’re known in the festival scene for their carnivalesque dance band and in jazz circles for Elysia’s smooth vocals and Steve’s impressive guitar lines. In acoustic duo mode, they’ll platform their original songs— quirky perspectives underpinned by a solid and wide-ranging musical curiosity.
De Cuba Son
De Cuba Son is a premier Afro-Cuban band based in Perth, Western Australia. Led by musicians Arvis Mena, Glenn Rogers and Jeremias Sosa, the band brings the vibrant sounds of Havana to the local dance scene, playing everything from traditional Son Cubano and salsa to boleros and contemporary Latin jazz.

Jane and the Rain
Join Jane and the Rain and Francesca Meehan as they celebrate the 100th birthday of the world’s most famous bear, Winne the Pooh.
This tender, whimsical journey through the poetry of A A Milne is interspersed with songs that invoke a sense of innocence, nostalgia and gentle playfulness as we explore what it means to be a human. Or, indeed, a bear.

Green Herring Oz
Green Herring Oz is based in Greenbushes, in the biodiversity hotspot of the Southwest of WA. Their original songs aim to encourage protecting and regenerating the environment. Their upbeat songs, fast paced, foot-tapping tunes and slow melodies ,across folk, bluegrass and blues, are interwoven with stories to enjoy and think about. Band members are Irma Lachmund (voice, mandolin, guitar, banjo), Lee Goodall (voice, mandolin, guitar) and Andy Hardy (double bass).
Ian Lilburne
Perth songwriter|singer Ian Lilburne crafts reflective songs in the key of Cohen. His lyrics are poetic and playful while his other musical influences include Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson and the minimalism of Steve Reich.
Hippy Campers
The Hippy Campers sing a diverse mix of musical styles that take a wry look at life and the world around us. As biologists, the environment just seems to find a way into many of our songs as well as our name. Having spent many years studying seahorses (Hippocampus) we took the name with us and became the Hippy Campers. Blues, country, folk with as much harmony as we can stuff in there.
